Allergies and special dietary requirements
If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements please state on booking
Nuts: Non of our cakes contain nuts as an ingredient. However, we cannot guarantee that the ingredients that we use are not contaminated at source, therefore all cakes may contain traces of nuts.
Alcohol: Our fruitcakes are made with brandy, but we can also make them alcohol free if required.
Wheat free: We can make wheat free cakes, substituting normal flour for wheat free flour.
Payment
To confirm an order, a £50 non refundable deposit is required on wedding cakes and a 50% non refundable deposit is required on celebration cakes, the final balance is due six weeks prior to the collection of a wedding cake, however the final balance on a celebration cake can be made on collection . We accept payment by cash, personal cheque or online bank transfer.
Cake Design Alterations
Design alterations can be made up to but no later than 6 weeks before collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Collection / Delivery
Delivery is available, charged from £25. If you choose delivery, we will liaise with the banqueting team at the venue regarding timings and set up, we will not be liable for any damage to the cake once we have left the venue. All cakes can be collected, If the cake is collected, we will not be liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our site.
Cakes decorated with fresh flowers: If your cake design requires fresh flowers, your florist will supply these. Please note some flowers are not suitable for use as a cake decoration. Ask your florist for details regarding toxicity. We cannot be liable for any contamination to our food product that may arise from their misuse.
Cakes decorated with diamantes and other non edible decorations: Please note that all non edible decorations including the diamante crystals that are used to decorate some of our cakes, must be removed from your cake before serving. All of our non edible decorations are only used at the clients request and we accept no responsibility for any physical harm that may arise from their use.
Stand Hire
We can supply cake stands at your request. Cake stand hire prices vary, please contact us for further information. Stands must be returned the first weekday after your event unless otherwise stated. If a stand is returned damaged or broken a charge will be incured.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing. All deposits are non-refundable. Any booking canceled between 14 and 28 days prior to collection or delivery of the order will be entitled to a 25% refund (not including the none refundable deposit). All cancellations made later than 14 days prior to collection of the order will only result in a refund at the companies absolute discretion.
